Chapter 1:  What Happened: Jem and Scout wonder upon a young boy, who is four, that offers to read anything of theres. Now obviously this is a little bit weird, but Jem and Scout act as if it is nothing. They tell him it is not impressive even though I have never heard of a four year old who offers to read for you.  The people in this chapter were: Scout, Jem, Dill, and Atticus  Literary elements: Allusion: Scout talks about the battle of Hasting, Andrew Jackson, and the Creek War Chapter 2:   What Happened:  There new found friend Dill has to leave town, however this is fine with Jem and Scout because they have to go back to school anyway.
