SHORT ANSWER QUESTION
Minimum 4-5 Sentences
Discuss the quote and what is means for Elie’s faith: “Blessed art Thou, Eternal, Master of the Universe…to be butchered on Thine altar.” (Pg. 67) This is basically saying that they are getting sacrificed. Some people may think this is making a sacrifice for god although it is just awful. Elie does not want to be a sacrifice. He thinks that no god of his would let this happen to them.
EXTRA CREDIT: Should the Jewish people fast for their holiday? Why or why not? They shouldn't because fasting in the condition they are in would be a bad choice.
Write in complete sentences. "A spoon and a knife" is not a complete sentence.
