How does Rabbi Eliahou and his son create a foreshadow for Elie’s future? Because he leaves his father in the dust when he runs out of energy and falls. Eli's father is also starting to get weak and may end up not making it.

What does Juliek symbolize in the book “Night”? Juliek symbolizes rebellion. He shows the entire group that he hates these people so much that when he goes out, he will do it being a rebel. He rebelled against the camp leaders to prove a point of what he loved and that they could not get in his way of that.

Chapter 1:  What Happened: Jem and Scout wonder upon a young boy, who is four, that offers to read anything of theres. Now obviously this is a little bit weird, but Jem and Scout act as if it is nothing.
